Amazon raises minimal wage charges in Britain

LONDON (Reuters) – Amazon (AMZN.O) mentioned on Tuesday it’s elevating its minimal wage in Britain to 10.50 kilos ($13.59) an hour for all staff within the London space and 9.50 kilos an hour for workers in all different elements of the nation, efficient from Nov. 1.

The group has over 17,000 staff in Britain, in addition to greater than 20,000 seasonal holiday workers.

Amazon’s transfer in Britain mirrors an announcement within the U.S. elevating minimal pay charges there.
