British court docket blocks U.S. try and extradite former HSBC dealer

LONDON (Reuters) – Britain’s Supreme Court has blocked an attraction by U.S. prosecutors looking for to extradite former HSBC dealer Stuart Scott to face fraud expenses over allegations that he and a colleague defrauded consumer Cairn Energy in a $three.5 billion forex commerce in 2011.

All avenues of attraction have been exhausted, federal prosecutors in Brooklyn instructed the decide presiding over the U.S. case in opposition to Scott in a letter seen by Reuters.

Scott’s lawyer declined to remark when contacted by Reuters.
