LONDON (Reuters) – British finance minister Philip Hammond mentioned on Wednesday he was assured that Prime Minister Theresa May would convey the advantages of her Brexit proposals to leaders of the member states.

Hammond mentioned dinner in Salzburg afterward Wednesday was May’s first probability to clarify her so-called Chequers proposal on to member states with out going by the European Commission, including the proposal was the fitting deal for each Britain and the EU.
“I’m very confident that talking directly to the political leaders of the member states, the prime minister will get that message across today,” Hammond informed the BBC.
“I’m confident that we will be able to deliver for Britain this Chequers deal.”
