Motorhead’s Eddie Clarke a famed guitarist, Entertainment News & Top Stories

LOS ANGELES • The guitarist was generally known as Fast Eddie for his ferocious type of taking part in.

On Thursday, Motorhead’s official Facebook web page mentioned Eddie Clarke, the final surviving member of the British metallic outfit’s line-up throughout its heyday, had died at 67.

In a Facebook submit, later members of the group mentioned Clarke died in hospital the place he was being handled for pneumonia.

It didn’t say the place.

Motorhead, which have been shaped in London in 1975, launched greater than 20 studio albums.

Original frontman Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister and drummer Phil Taylor each died in 2015.

Clarke performed on Motorhead’s largest hits, together with the albums Ace Of Spades, No Sleep ’til Hammersmith and the 1981 British hit single Motorhead.

He left the band in 1982 on the peak of their success to type the group Fastway.

Having began off in a blues band, he later returned to blues music and launched what can be his remaining album, Make My Day, Back To Blues, in 2014.
