New Balance and J. Crew release sneakers impressed by US National Parks

When it involves sneakers, performance and vogue are not the one deciding elements within the design course of. The collaboration is named New Balance for J. Crew 998 National Park sneakers, and sees restricted version designs being launched that have been impressed by Crater Lake National Park in Oregon and Death Valley National Park in japanese California. The colouring of each pairs of sneakers replicate every of the locations, with the Crater Lake sneakers being completed in shades of wealthy blue, calling to thoughts the crystal waters and snowy environment of America’s deepest lake, whereas the Death Valley pair evoke the desert panorama with brown and tan tones.

Retailing for $180 (€145) for each pair of sneakers offered, $10 might be donated to the National Park Foundation. “This fun and very stylish collaboration with J. Crew and New Balance inspires conversations about our country’s incredible National Park System and what we can all do to help support it,” Stephanie Mathew, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships on the National Park Foundation advised Lonely Planet Travel News.
