Irish singer-songwriter Niall Horan managed to do the near-impossible in getting the gang at The Star Theatre to place away their telephones as he performed the title tune from his debut album, Flicker, on Tuesday evening.
The viewers of about four,000, comprising largely screaming women, quietened down and listened to Horan, 24, as he instructed them how the tune “was a good thing that came out of a bad thing”.
