LOS ANGELES (AFP) – Actor Vince Vaughn faces costs of driving drunk and refusing to undergo a breathalyser take a look at, officers stated on Friday (Sept 7).
Vaughn, who starred within the comedy The Wedding Crashers and the second collection of True Detective, is being charged with “misdemeanour driving under the influence after he was stopped at a sobriety checkpoint in Manhattan Beach earlier this summer,” the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office stated in an announcement.
Vaughn, 48, can even be charged with “refusing to comply with a peace officer or to submit to an inspection” when he was pulled over in June, the lawyer’s workplace stated.
Both are misdemeanour costs and Vaughn might face a most sentence of 360 days in jail, the lawyer’s workplace stated.
He will seem in courtroom on September 10 to formally face the fees.
Vaughn was on the Venice Film Festival this week presenting his newest film Dragged Across Concrete, wherein he co-stars with Mel Gibson and Jennifer Carpenter.
