A brand new Melbourne-based start-up, Farmwall, has began constructing vertical, edible farms that develop recent produce inside a few of Melbourne’s iconic cafes and eating places, as a part of a mission to rework cities into food-producing ecosystems. Chefs do the harvesting, city farmers maintain the remaining, constructing connections between patrons and the origins of their meals.
The staff are putting in the primary two Farmwalls into Higher Ground and Top Paddock, two award-winning cafes owned by high-profile venue proprietor Nathan Toleman.
