Britain’s government final month introduced plans to curb air air pollution after the European Commission mentioned it could take Britain and 5 different European Union member states to the EU Court of Justice for failing to respect air high quality limits.

UNICEF mentioned the plans don’t go far sufficient and referred to as for extra funding for measures to assist cut back air pollution within the worst affected areas.

“Under the government’s air quality plans, unsafe levels of air pollution in around 71 percent of UK towns and cities is likely to be the case for another 12 years,” the report mentioned.
