Bournemouth’s seaside has been named among the many finest in Europe in TripAdvisor’s annual Traveller’s Choice awards. The lengthy, sandy seaside was ranked the perfect seaside within the UK and the fifth finest in Europe, coming forward of seashores in Sicily, Crete and Gran Canaria.
La Concha in San Sebastián, Spain – metropolis seaside in a crescent-shaped bay – was named finest seaside in Europe, adopted by Elafonissi in Greece and Falesia in Olhos de Agua, Portugal.

In the UK, the pristine Luskentyre seaside on the Isle of Harris, was rated second finest, adopted by Rhossili Bay on the Gower Peninsula after which Brighton seaside.
The idyllic Grace Bay on the Turks and Caicos within the Caribbean – well-known for its white sands and crystal clear water – was named the world’s finest seaside, adopted by Baia do Sancho on the Brazilian island of Fernando de Noronha.
Beaches have been ranked based on the standard and amount of traveller opinions and rankings on TripAdvisor over the previous 12 months.
